Hello! My name is Katelyn. I am currently 25 years old, and I am a writer. I have been ever since I could hold a pencil.

I have always had a passion for writing, the earliest poem I have is actually from 2009, which is kind of insane to me. I am currently working on my first book, which is a collection of the work I have done to date (short stories and poetry). Poetry has always been there to weather me through tough times, and it means a lot to me when others are able to feel things through my writing.

I haven't logged on to this account since 2017, life has just been kicking me down lately and its been hard to find the time to do the things that I love, but I am hoping to at least log on here some times, even if its only once a week, just to spend time with my passion of writing and get feedback and inspiration from all the other amazing writers on here!

What should I do?

Okay. So, I'm doing something right now that I do not usually do. I'm writing something that isn't a poem. Lol. -gasp- I'm taking my time with it, merely because it's been so long since I last wrote anything like this. So, here's what I need you guys' help with... Should I post the prologue awhile? Understand, I might change things..but I do have a definite idea of what I'm doing and I'm already on the beginning of chapter three. The reason I'm asking is because I"m not going to waste my time if nobody will look at it and help me out with suggestions.
